In 2003, the stakeholders saw the need to convert the school which was a mixed school to girls’ school to cater for girls in the Akuapem North District and beyond. In 2003 therefore, approval was given for school to be converted into a girls’ school. The last batch of boys numbering 24 left the school in September, 20042005.
